A large banking company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will own accurate, complete and timely financial reporting for Investment Banking business units. The role keeps balance sheet accounts substantiated and controls working as accounting policy changes.
What you'll do
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for Investment Banking business units
- Complete account attestations and substantiate balance sheet accounts
- Partner with internal teams and external brokerage firms to resolve issues
- Maintain effective controls and process documentation
- Implement accounting policy changes in a controlled manner
What you bring
- Experience in financial or syndicate accounting, at a senior analyst level
- Working knowledge of balance sheet substantiation and account attestation
- A control-minded approach to process documentation
- Ability to work with internal teams and external brokerage firms
