About the role
A mid-sized utilities company in Edmonton is hiring for this role. You will set up and maintain project controls data, budgets, forecasts, schedules and financial reports, and make sure project costs, commitments, billing and earned value are tracked accurately. You will work alongside Project Managers to keep project finances on course.
What you'll do
- Set up and maintain project controls data, budgets, forecasts and schedules
- Track project costs, commitments, billing and earned value
- Prepare financial reports for project teams
- Support Project Managers with forecast reviews, change management, and cost and schedule analysis
- Complete reconciliations and financial closeout, and escalate project risks
What you bring
- Experience in project controls or project accounting
- Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and earned value
- Skill in cost and schedule analysis and account reconciliation
- Ability to partner with Project Managers and raise risks early
