About the role
A mid-sized appliances, electrical and electronics manufacturing company in Calgary is hiring for this role. You will lead the six-person finance and accounting team and own day-to-day financial operations. You will also deliver consolidated reporting under IFRS and strengthen the company's controls.
What you'll do
- Lead the six-person finance and accounting team
- Oversee the general ledger, banking, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and government reporting
- Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports under IFRS
- Coordinate audits and support treasury and tax activities
- Improve internal controls, processes and systems
What you bring
- Experience leading a finance and accounting team
- Working knowledge of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting
- Hands-on command of the general ledger, payroll, AP and AR
- Experience coordinating audits and supporting treasury and tax work
- A track record of improving controls, processes and systems
