Who we are
Traverse Staffing is a recruiting and staffing firm in Toronto, Ontario. We are subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). The person accountable for privacy at Traverse can be reached at recruitment@traversestaffing.com or 416-274-3978.
What the forms collect and why
- Employer inquiries (name, company, work email, phone, the role): used to respond to your inquiry and, if you engage us, to run the search. Kept for as long as we work together and for two years after the last contact.
- Candidate registrations and applications (name, email, phone, LinkedIn profile, your current role and your message; the form takes no files): used to consider you for the role you applied to and for similar roles, and to contact you about them. Nothing is sent to a client before we speak with you. Kept for two years from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Technical data: the page the form was sent from, a hashed IP address and browser type, kept for 90 days to detect abuse.
Email you may receive
Replying to an inquiry or application does not need your consent under CASL. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one. If we ever send marketing email, every message carries an unsubscribe that takes effect within ten business days.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in a private database hosted in the United States by our infrastructure provider, with access limited to Traverse recruiters, and a copy is emailed to the Traverse team. The site runs on Vercel. Booking a call uses Calendly under Calendly's own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it, by emailing recruitment@traversestaffing.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Accessibility and accommodation
Traverse provides accommodation for applicants with disabilities during recruitment. Tell us what you need at any stage and we will work with you. This site is built to WCAG 2.0 AA; if something is in your way, email us and we will fix it.
