About the role
A large international trade and development company in Mississauga is hiring for this role. You will lead the month-end and year-end close, own the financial statements and supporting entries, and work with operations teams on inventory accuracy and costing.
What you'll do
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare financial statements and supporting journal entries
- Complete reconciliations and regulatory filings
- Coordinate external audits
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting and financial analysis
What you bring
- Strong experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
- Senior-level accounting experience across full-cycle close and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of reconciliations, regulatory filings and audit coordination
- Comfort partnering with operations teams on inventory accuracy, costing and process improvements
