About the role
A mid-sized software development company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will oversee accounting, financial reporting, the close process and financial controls for one or more software business units. You will work closely with business leaders and the CFO, and support shared finance operations and M&A integration.
What you'll do
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting and close processes for one or more business units
- Lead performance analysis and maintain strong financial controls
- Partner with business leaders and the CFO on results and decisions
- Support shared finance operations and M&A integration
- Manage audits and compliance, and develop local finance staff
What you bring
- Experience running accounting, reporting and month-end close in a controller-level role
- Working knowledge of financial controls, audits and compliance
- Ability to partner with business leaders and senior finance executives
- Experience developing and leading finance team members
