About the role
A mid-sized wholesale building materials company in Concord is hiring for this role. You will lead accounting operations and the financial close across multiple sites and divisions. You will also advise the COO and operational leaders on financial performance and business decisions.
What you'll do
- Lead the financial close, reporting and reconciliations across multiple sites and divisions
- Manage cash management and budgeting
- Oversee manufacturing cost accounting
- Manage a small finance team and maintain controls and compliance
- Coordinate insurance and benefits reviews
- Advise the COO and operational leaders on financial performance and business decisions
What you bring
- Experience leading accounting operations and month-end close in a multi-site environment
- Working knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting
- Experience managing a small finance team
- Strong grounding in internal controls and compliance
- Ability to advise senior operational leaders on financial decisions
