About the role
A large hospitality company in Cambridge is hiring for this role. You will test and inspect raw materials, soap and packaging against approved specifications on the afternoon shift. You will keep results documented and make sure non-conforming findings are escalated quickly.
What you'll do
- Sample, inspect and test raw materials, in-process soap, packaging components and finished products against approved procedures and specifications
- Document test and inspection results accurately
- Maintain laboratory equipment and samples
- Escalate abnormal or non-conforming findings promptly
- Support investigations and manufacturing quality activities
What you bring
- Ability to follow approved procedures and test methods precisely
- Attention to detail when documenting results
- Comfort working in a laboratory and manufacturing environment
- Judgment to recognize abnormal results and raise them without delay
