About the role
A large packaging and containers manufacturing company in Mississauga is hiring for this role. You will keep production machinery running by troubleshooting failures and carrying out preventive maintenance. Your work will support equipment reliability, productivity and quality on the plant floor.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and get production machinery back up quickly
- Inspect and repair production machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, hydraulic systems and pumps
- Use a CMMS and root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability
- Follow safety procedures and support waste reduction and 5S initiatives
What you bring
- Hands-on experience as a millwright or industrial mechanic in a production setting
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and pumps
- Experience with a CMMS and root cause analysis
- A commitment to safe work practices, quality and waste reduction
- Familiarity with 5S
