About the role
A mid-sized farming company in Windsor is hiring for this role. You will improve and optimize manufacturing processes by identifying constraints and putting practical engineering solutions in place, including automation, robotics and machine vision. You will lead projects from the first concept through to a stable, running operation.
What you'll do
- Identify process constraints and implement practical engineering solutions
- Apply automation, robotics, machine vision and equipment modifications to improve output
- Lead projects from concept through prototyping, installation and commissioning
- Stabilize operations once new or modified equipment is running
- Support equipment safety and reliability while working with teams across the company
What you bring
- Engineering experience improving manufacturing processes
- Hands-on knowledge of automation, robotics or machine vision
- Ability to carry a project from concept through commissioning
