About the role
A large packaging and containers manufacturing company in Mississauga is hiring for this role. You will keep production equipment, hydraulic systems and pumps running reliably through preventive maintenance and hands-on repair. You will also support productivity, quality and waste reduction on the plant floor.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and maintain production equipment, hydraulic systems and pumps
- Carry out preventive maintenance, including lubrication and minor electrical and welding work
- Use a CMMS to record and plan maintenance work
- Apply root cause analysis and continuous improvement practices to improve equipment reliability
- Follow safety procedures and support 5S initiatives
What you bring
- Experience maintaining industrial production equipment, hydraulics and pumps
- Working knowledge of minor electrical, welding and lubrication tasks
- Familiarity with CMMS and root cause analysis
- A commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
