About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Bolton is hiring for this role. You will keep CNC machinery running by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing its electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems. You will work alongside the engineering and production teams.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and its supporting systems
- Calibrate and upgrade equipment as needed
- Follow preventive maintenance and safety procedures
- Manage critical spare parts
- Document maintenance work and coordinate with engineering and production
What you bring
- Hands-on experience maintaining CNC machinery
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Commitment to safety and preventive maintenance procedures
- Clear record-keeping and the ability to work with engineering and production teams
