About the role
A large aviation and aerospace component manufacturing company in Winnipeg is hiring for this role. You will keep the general ledger accurate, prepare monthly journal entries and support internal and external financial reporting. You will work closely with the finance team.
What you'll do
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Reconcile and analyze accounts in accordance with GAAP and reporting requirements
- Support internal controls and audits
- Contribute to internal and external financial reporting with the finance team
What you bring
- Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries and account reconciliations
- Familiarity with internal controls and audit support
- A collaborative approach to working within a finance team
