About the role
A mid-sized retail company in Edmonton is hiring for this role. You will own financial reporting, the close and the controls that keep the books accurate. You will also build reliable manufacturing cost and inventory processes and lead the finance side of the ERP transition.
What you'll do
- Lead financial reporting and the month-end close.
- Run budgeting and forecasting, and manage cash flow.
- Oversee statutory compliance and maintain accurate financial records.
- Build manufacturing cost and inventory processes the business can rely on.
- Lead the finance workstream of the ERP transition.
- Partner with operational teams to improve costs, margins and business decisions.
What you bring
- Experience leading financial reporting, close, budgeting and forecasting.
- Background in manufacturing cost accounting and inventory costing.
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance and strong internal controls.
- Experience supporting or leading finance through an ERP implementation.
- Ability to work with operations teams and turn numbers into decisions.
