About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Burlington is hiring for this role. You will act as a financial partner to Operations and Finance leadership, providing analysis and oversight of your assigned business areas. You will cover revenues, costs, work in progress, margins and labour productivity.
What you'll do
- Partner with Operations and Finance leadership on analysis and oversight of your assigned business areas.
- Manage monthly close activities.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, and complete variance analysis.
- Maintain internal control documentation.
- Drive initiatives that improve profitability, cost management and financial processes.
What you bring
- Experience in accounting or financial analysis supporting operations.
- Comfort analyzing revenues, costs, work in progress, margins and labour productivity.
- Working knowledge of month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience with variance analysis and internal control documentation.
