About the role
A large chemical manufacturing company in Oakville is hiring for this role. You will keep item codes, master data and costing information accurate, and you will support month-end and cost roll-up activities. You will also work with operations and sales on their costing needs.
What you'll do
- Maintain item codes, master data and costing information in SAP and the Material Data Governance portal
- Create, extend, update and delete codes as the business requires
- Review costs and production variances
- Support month-end close and cost roll-up activities
- Prepare reports and assist operations and sales with costing questions
What you bring
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Experience with, or a strong interest in, cost accounting and production variance review
- Attention to detail in master data and item code maintenance
- Ability to work with operations and sales teams on costing needs
