About the role
A large non-profit organization company in Ottawa is hiring for this role. You will manage the financial side of assigned donor-funded grants across their full lifecycle, from planning through reporting and audit. You will also supervise the grant finance and compliance staff who support that work.
What you'll do
- Manage financial planning, budgets and forecasts for assigned donor-funded grants.
- Prepare donor reports and lead compliance reviews and audit preparation.
- Review financial submissions from partner organizations.
- Improve grant finance processes and tools.
- Collaborate with program and finance teams, and directly supervise grant finance and compliance staff.
What you bring
- Experience managing grant or donor-funded budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of compliance reviews and audit preparation.
- Ability to review and assess partner financial submissions.
- People leadership skills to supervise grant finance and compliance staff.
- Strong working relationships with program and finance colleagues.
