About the role
A mid-sized packaging and containers manufacturing company in Charlotte is hiring for this role. You will set up and run slitter rewinder machines to customer specifications and keep production and quality records accurate. When the Production Supervisor is absent, you will step in to help coordinate the floor.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic slitter rewinder machines.
- Adjust machine settings to meet customer specifications.
- Inspect materials and finished rolls for quality.
- Complete production and quality records.
- Coordinate assignments, communicate work and safety expectations, and support teammates when the Production Supervisor is absent.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience setting up and running slitter rewinder equipment, automatic and semi-automatic.
- An eye for detail when inspecting materials and finished rolls.
- Comfort keeping production and quality documentation.
- The ability to communicate clearly and support teammates on the floor.
- Willingness to report production, quality, equipment and safety issues.
