A mid-sized paper and forest product manufacturing company in Memphis is hiring for this role. You will oversee the distribution center, from receiving through shipping, and own staffing, budgets and productivity. The role exists to keep inventory and freight moving safely and profitably.
What you'll do
- Oversee receiving, picking, packing and shipping operations
- Manage transportation and inventory flow
- Lead and develop employees, and manage staffing levels
- Manage budgets and drive productivity targets
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate across the supply chain to improve efficiency and profitability
What you bring
- Experience running distribution center or warehouse operations
- People leadership skills, with a record of developing teams
- Working knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements
- Comfort managing budgets and productivity metrics
