A mid-sized manufacturing company in Barrie is hiring for this role. You will lead production operations and a workforce of more than 300 employees across two shifts. You will own production schedules, product quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do
- Lead production operations across two shifts
- Keep production schedules, product quality, safety and regulatory compliance on track
- Drive operational improvements, automation and new product launches
- Develop production leaders and manage departmental budgets
- Address production deviations and customer complaints
What you bring
- Experience leading large production teams, with a workforce of more than 300 employees in scope
- A working knowledge of quality, safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting
- A track record of operational improvement, automation and new product launches
- Strength in developing production leaders and managing budgets
