About the role
A large food and beverage manufacturing company in Winchester is hiring for this role. You will supervise daily dairy production operations as a relief supervisor, keeping the team on target for output, product quality, safety, sanitation and cost.
What you'll do
- Supervise daily dairy production and meet production targets
- Lead employees and manage staffing and scheduling
- Maintain product quality, safety and sanitation standards
- Analyze operational issues and take corrective action
- Support continuous improvement, training and compliance
- Work to the cost objectives set for the area
What you bring
- Experience supervising production in a food or dairy manufacturing setting
- The ability to lead and motivate a production team
- A working knowledge of quality, safety and sanitation requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a record of analyzing issues and acting on them
- Comfort with scheduling, training and compliance duties
