A large IT services and IT consulting company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will oversee financial reporting, the month-end close and technical accounting judgments, and keep the company's internal controls sound. The role exists to make sure reporting is accurate and compliant with IFRS and company policies.
What you'll do
- Oversee financial reporting and month-end close activities.
- Make and document technical accounting judgments.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
- Advise business stakeholders and analyze financial performance.
- Support audits and improve finance processes and controls.
What you bring
- CPA designation.
- Working knowledge of IFRS reporting.
- Experience running a month-end close and applying technical accounting judgment.
- Experience with internal controls and supporting audits.
- Ability to advise business stakeholders clearly.
