A large pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will manage night-shift manufacturing operations for buffer preparation, washing and sterilizing, and raw materials, keeping production on schedule and compliant.
What you'll do
- Manage night-shift production for buffer preparation, washing and sterilizing, and raw materials
- Plan production schedules and direct shop-floor execution
- Lead and develop a unionized team
- Ensure cGMP and safety compliance on every shift
- Support audits and corrective actions
- Lead continuous improvement and facility initiatives
What you bring
- Experience managing manufacturing operations in a cGMP environment
- Experience supervising unionized personnel
- Working knowledge of production scheduling and shop-floor execution
- A track record of supporting audits and closing corrective actions
- Comfort leading continuous improvement work
