About the role
A large IT services and IT consulting company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will own financial performance analysis, month-end reporting and controls, and the application of IFRS to complex accounting matters. The role also keeps governance and reporting risks in check and makes the finance function simpler to run.
What you'll do
- Oversee financial performance analysis and month-end reporting
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls
- Apply IFRS to complex accounting matters
- Partner with business teams and auditors to manage governance and reporting risks
- Improve finance processes through simplification, standardization and automation
What you bring
- Working knowledge of IFRS, including on complex accounting matters
- Experience with month-end reporting and financial controls
- Experience working with auditors and business teams
- A track record of improving finance processes through standardization and automation
