About the role
A mid-sized construction company in Kitimat is hiring for this role. You will install, maintain and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems, including pumps and conveyors, and keep equipment running with as little downtime as possible.
What you'll do
- Install and align industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumps, conveyors and related equipment
- Follow site safety procedures on every job
- Work with other trades and supervisors to keep work moving
- Document completed work and parts used
What you bring
- Hands-on experience as a millwright working on industrial machinery
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and reduce downtime
- Commitment to site safety procedures
- Clear record-keeping on work completed and parts used
