About the role
A small internet publishing company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will review the company's financial statements for accuracy and compliance, and you will own the audit documentation and written findings that come out of that work.
What you'll do
- Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Develop and validate financial models using advanced Excel functions.
- Assess and document audit procedures and internal controls.
- Prepare written reports outlining your findings and recommendations.
What you bring
- Working knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
- Advanced Excel skills, including building and validating financial models.
- Experience assessing and documenting audit procedures and internal controls.
- Clear written communication for reporting findings and recommendations.
