About the role
A large IT services and IT consulting company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will own the month-end close and financial reporting, and you will make sure the numbers meet IFRS, internal accounting policies and internal controls. The company also needs a partner who can read business performance and advise stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Lead the month-end close, including reconciliations and financial reporting
- Complete technical accounting assessments in line with IFRS and company accounting policies
- Analyze business performance and risks, and advise stakeholders
- Support audits and keep internal controls working
- Improve finance processes and governance
What you bring
- A CPA designation
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Experience running month-end close and account reconciliations
- Experience with technical accounting assessments and audit support
- Clear communication with non-finance stakeholders
