About the role
A large civil engineering company in Edmonton is hiring for this role. You will support the Controller in managing accounting and financial activities across the company's Canadian locations. You will also lead the billing and project accounting team and help with an ERP system conversion.
What you'll do
- Support the Controller with accounting and financial activities across Canadian locations
- Prepare financial statements, project earnings and KPI reporting
- Oversee revenue compliance and deliver financial analysis
- Lead and mentor the billing and project accounting team
- Support audits and executive decision-making, and assist with the ERP system conversion
What you bring
- Accounting experience covering financial statements and KPI reporting
- Working knowledge of project earnings and revenue compliance
- Ability to lead and mentor a billing and project accounting team
- Comfort with financial analysis and supporting audits
- Interest in contributing to an ERP system conversion
