About the role
A large manufacturing company in Madison is hiring for this role. You will design, program, install and implement automated controls, manufacturing equipment and process improvements, and you will support plant operations with advanced troubleshooting. The role exists to improve safety, quality, productivity and reliability across the plant.
What you'll do
- Design, program, install and implement automated controls and manufacturing equipment.
- Lead process improvements from concept through implementation.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, safety and documentation.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing systems and resolve root causes.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to raise safety, quality, productivity and reliability.
What you bring
- Experience designing and implementing automated controls and manufacturing equipment.
- Controls programming skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving skills for manufacturing systems.
- Ability to manage project budgets, schedules and documentation.
- Comfort collaborating with plant teams and outside vendors.
