About the role
A large motor vehicle parts manufacturing company in Oklahoma City is hiring for this role. You will supervise production employees on second shift and make sure operations meet safety, quality, delivery and cost standards. You will also keep production workflows running and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Supervise production employees and keep operations on target for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Train employees and manage performance, attendance and time-off approvals.
- Maintain effective production workflows across the shift.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues as they come up.
- Improve productivity and quality using lean manufacturing methods.
What you bring
- Experience supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing methods.
- Ability to troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
- Skill in training people and managing performance and attendance.
