About the role
A large appliances, electrical and electronics manufacturing company in Austin is hiring for this role. You will improve manufacturing processes so they meet cost, quality, delivery, safety and productivity goals. You will also set up robust process controls and troubleshoot issues on the floor.
What you'll do
- Improve manufacturing processes to hit cost, quality, delivery, safety and productivity targets
- Troubleshoot process issues and establish robust process controls
- Implement equipment and engineering changes
- Support new process transfers and production training
- Maintain process documentation and lead cycle-time and cost-reduction improvements
What you bring
- Experience as a manufacturing or process engineer in a production environment
- Skill in troubleshooting process problems and putting controls in place
- Experience implementing equipment and engineering changes
- Ability to document processes and train production teams
