A large packaging and containers manufacturing company in Lansing is hiring for this role. You will oversee daily shift operations on nights and be accountable for meeting production, quality, safety and productivity goals. You will lead the people who make that happen.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily shift operations to meet production, quality, safety and productivity targets
- Handle staffing and work assignments for the shift
- Manage performance and make operational decisions during the shift
- Track and improve departmental metrics
- Resolve problems and conflicts, and develop a collaborative, cross-trained team
