About the role
A small electric power generation company in North York is hiring for this role. You will own accounts payable end to end across multiple legal entities, keeping payments, records and controls accurate. You will also help improve AP workflows and support the move to NetSuite.
What you'll do
- Review and code invoices across multiple legal entities
- Run payments and respond to vendor inquiries
- Complete reconciliations and period-end accruals
- Maintain accurate records and internal controls, and support audits and the financial close
- Help improve AP workflows and implement NetSuite
What you bring
- Hands-on accounts payable experience, including invoice coding and payment runs
- Experience with reconciliations and period-end accruals
- Working knowledge of internal controls and audit support
- Comfort with NetSuite or a willingness to help implement it
