About the role
A large wholesale building materials company in Mississauga is hiring for this role. You will lead purchasing, inventory management, forecasting, material planning, logistics and supplier relationships so materials meet customer and production needs. You will also develop the supply chain team.
What you'll do
- Lead purchasing, inventory management, forecasting and material planning
- Manage logistics and supplier relationships
- Develop and lead the supply chain team
- Manage supply risks and compliance
- Improve supplier performance, inventory levels, warehouse operations, ERP processes and costs
What you bring
- Experience leading purchasing, inventory and logistics functions
- A track record of managing supplier relationships and improving supplier performance
- Skill in forecasting and material planning
- Experience developing a supply chain team
- Working knowledge of ERP processes and warehouse operations
