About the role
A large defense and space manufacturing company in Parsippany is hiring for this role. You will develop and improve the manufacturing processes behind complex aerospace and electromechanical products. The aim is to cut build time, labour, waste, scrap, rework and production cost while protecting quality.
What you'll do
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace and electromechanical products
- Reduce build time, labour, waste, scrap, rework and production costs
- Lead continuous improvement work on the production floor
- Lead major manufacturing projects, including production cell design and automation
- Implement new equipment, drive facility improvements and support production launches
What you bring
- Experience as a process or manufacturing engineer on complex products
- A record of improving cost, cycle time and quality in a production environment
- Experience leading projects such as cell design, automation or equipment implementation
- Comfort leading continuous improvement efforts across teams
