About the role
A large construction company in Mojave is hiring for this role. You will support the design, construction, commissioning and startup of its rolling mill. Once the mill is running, you will own the work of stabilizing it and continuously improving its processes, equipment performance, product quality and production efficiency.
What you'll do
- Support the design, construction, commissioning and startup of the rolling mill
- Stabilize mill processes and drive continuous improvement in equipment performance, quality and efficiency
- Work hands-on with operators and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues
- Lead corrective actions when problems come up
- Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers, and train employees
What you bring
- Process engineering skills suited to a rolling mill environment
- Comfort working on the floor alongside operators and cross-functional teams
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to lead corrective actions
- Experience working with OEMs and suppliers
- Ability to train and coach employees
