About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Bolton is hiring for this role. You will prepare consolidated financial statements and keep the monthly, quarterly and year-end closes moving across business units. You will also support external reporting and audits.
What you'll do
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, journal entries, support schedules and reconciliations
- Produce reporting materials for monthly, quarterly and year-end closes
- Coordinate close activities across business units
- Analyze foreign exchange and intercompany transactions
- Support external reporting and audits, and raise financial issues promptly
What you bring
- Experience in corporate accounting and consolidated financial reporting
- Working knowledge of foreign exchange and intercompany accounting
- Experience supporting external reporting and audits
- Clear communication with business units and finance leaders
