About the role
A small appliances, electrical and electronics manufacturing company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will run production end to end, from procurement and supplier management to inventory, planning and order fulfillment. You will also lead the implementation and upkeep of the company's MRP system.
What you'll do
- Manage procurement, suppliers and inventory.
- Plan production and coordinate assembly and order fulfillment.
- Implement and maintain the MRP system.
- Improve product quality and production workflows.
- Support assemblers and introduce relevant AI and automation tools.
What you bring
- Experience managing production in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Working knowledge of procurement, inventory control and production planning.
- Experience implementing or maintaining an MRP system.
- Interest in applying AI and automation to production work.
