About the role
A large telecommunications company in Regina is hiring for this role. You will lead the day-to-day operations and staff of a mission-critical data centre, keeping it available, reliable, safe and compliant in a 24/7 environment. You will also coordinate with the Facilities, Network and Security teams and with vendors.
What you'll do
- Lead the data centre team and its daily operations
- Oversee incident response, maintenance and change controls
- Manage capacity planning and customer onboarding
- Prepare for and support audits
- Drive continuous improvement in availability, reliability, safety and compliance
- Coordinate with Facilities, Network, Security and vendors
What you bring
- Experience leading staff in a mission-critical, 24/7 data centre environment
- Working knowledge of incident management and change control
- Experience with capacity planning and audits
- Ability to work across technical teams and with outside vendors
