About the role
A large defense and space manufacturing company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will lead operational readiness reviews and make sure projects are prepared for production. You will work across supply chain, procurement, facilities and other teams, and you will report on cost and risk.
What you'll do
- Lead operational readiness reviews ahead of production.
- Coordinate supply chain, procurement, facilities and cross-functional teams.
- Forecast staffing and manufacturing costs.
- Monitor project performance using EVM, CAM and EAC methods.
- Identify cost savings and communicate operational risks and recovery plans.
What you bring
- Experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of EVM, CAM and EAC performance methods.
- Skill at forecasting staffing and manufacturing costs.
- Ability to work with supply chain, procurement and facilities teams.
- Clear communication of risks and recovery plans.
