A large manufacturing company in Dubuque is hiring for this role. You will support environmental and occupational safety compliance while improving manufacturing processes, working with production, maintenance and quality teams.
What you'll do
- Support environmental and occupational safety compliance through permitting, inspections, audits and reporting
- Run safety training and complete risk assessments
- Take part in emergency response activities
- Improve manufacturing processes and coordinate projects with production, maintenance, quality, vendors and contractors
- Support Lean and 5S initiatives
What you bring
- Experience in environmental health and safety compliance in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with permitting, audits and regulatory reporting
- Ability to run risk assessments and deliver training
- Working knowledge of Lean and 5S
- Skill at coordinating with internal teams, vendors and contractors
