About the role
A large environmental services company in Etobicoke is hiring for this role. You will lead the facility's operations and maintenance under a municipal contract and act as the main liaison to the client. The role exists to keep service reliable, compliant and cost-effective.
What you'll do
- Lead facility operations and maintenance in line with the terms of the municipal contract
- Own safety and environmental compliance across the site
- Manage financial performance and long-term asset management
- Act as the primary client liaison
- Direct and develop site teams, and manage operational risk
What you bring
- Experience leading operations and maintenance at an industrial or utility-type facility
- A working knowledge of safety and environmental compliance requirements
- Comfort owning a site budget and financial results
- Client-facing skills, with the ability to represent the company to a municipal partner
- Leadership experience developing and directing site teams
