About the role
A large food and beverage manufacturing company in Etobicoke is hiring for this role. You will keep processing, packaging and other production equipment running through preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs. You will also report on downtime and uptime so the team can plan around production needs.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and adjustments on processing, packaging and other production equipment
- Dismantle, install, repair and test mechanical equipment
- Document completed work
- Report downtime, material, staffing and uptime needs
What you bring
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing mechanical production equipment
- Experience with processing and packaging equipment
- Ability to test equipment after repair and record the work clearly
- Ability to flag downtime and resource needs to the team
