About the role
A small aviation and aerospace component manufacturing company in Wichita is hiring for this role. You will develop and improve the processes and documentation behind electro- and hydro-mechanical assemblies, and keep production running by solving build and quality issues as they come up.
What you'll do
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes and work instructions for electro- and hydro-mechanical assemblies
- Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation
- Support production and troubleshoot build and quality issues
- Implement corrective actions to prevent repeat problems
- Coordinate manufacturing feedback and technical changes with customers, suppliers, engineering and production
- Support assembly testing and verification
What you bring
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering role with mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies
- Ability to write clear work instructions and process documentation
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills for build and quality issues
- Comfort working with customers, suppliers, engineers and production teams
