About the role
A large banking company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will oversee complex custody operations, including trade settlement, cash management, reconciliations and asset servicing. You will also act as a senior escalation point and strengthen the controls that keep the work accurate.
What you'll do
- Oversee trade settlement, cash management, reconciliations and asset servicing.
- Resolve exceptions and act as a senior escalation point.
- Improve processes and controls across custody operations.
- Support client onboarding and transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to testing, documentation and operational readiness for new products and systems.
What you bring
- Experience in custody operations, including settlement, cash management and reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of asset servicing.
- Judgment to resolve complex exceptions and handle escalations.
- A track record of improving processes and controls.
- Comfort supporting testing, documentation and change projects.
