About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Bolton is hiring for this role. You will keep CNC machinery running by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing the equipment and its supporting systems. The role exists to protect equipment uptime and production reliability.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and its electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems
- Calibrate and upgrade equipment as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance on a regular schedule
- Manage critical spare parts
- Document maintenance work and follow safety procedures
What you bring
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance and calibration
- A careful approach to documentation and safety procedures
