About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Bolton is hiring for this role. You will keep CNC machinery running by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing its electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems. You will work with the engineering and production teams to keep equipment reliable and safe.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and its supporting systems.
- Calibrate and upgrade equipment as needed.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and follow safety procedures.
- Manage critical spare parts.
- Document maintenance work and coordinate with engineering and production.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience maintaining CNC machinery.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
- Careful documentation habits and a collaborative approach with engineering and production.
