About the role
A large pharmaceutical manufacturing company in North York is hiring for this role. You will supervise packaging maintenance activities and lead the mechanical and electrical technicians who keep packaging equipment in good condition. The role also drives reliability and continuous improvement work across the packaging area.
What you'll do
- Supervise packaging maintenance activities and the mechanical and electrical technicians
- Ensure equipment condition and compliance with safety, cGMP, SOP and company requirements
- Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Track maintenance and performance metrics
- Resolve technical and employee issues
- Recruit, train, coach and manage your direct reports
What you bring
- Experience supervising maintenance or technical teams in a packaging environment
- Working knowledge of cGMP, SOPs and workplace safety requirements
- Background in mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance
- Skill in coaching and developing technicians
- Comfort tracking and reporting on maintenance and performance metrics
