About the role
A mid-sized mining company in Port Coquitlam is hiring for this role. You will turn inspection findings and customer requirements into repair scopes, work instructions and manufacturing sequences. You will also support the shop-floor teams who carry the work out.
What you'll do
- Prepare and revise manufacturing and repair drawings
- Inspect existing components and record what you find
- Translate inspection findings and customer requirements into repair scopes, work instructions and manufacturing sequences
- Provide technical support to shop-floor teams and review dimensional results
- Support sourcing and testing, and keep technical records and drawing revisions accurate
What you bring
- A background as a mechanical engineer, EIT, engineering technologist or manufacturing technician
- The ability to prepare and revise technical drawings
- Comfort reviewing inspection and dimensional results
- Clear communication with shop-floor teams and customers
- Attention to detail in technical records and drawing revisions
