A large IT services and IT consulting company in Ottawa is hiring for this role. You will keep manufacturing equipment running by troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining it, and you will support production and engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Fabricate or modify parts and rebuild mechanical components
- Install and align equipment
- Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Perform and document preventive maintenance
What you bring
- Hands-on machinist and millwright skills
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to fabricate and modify parts and rebuild mechanical components
- Discipline in documenting preventive maintenance
- Ability to work with production and engineering teams
